You Shall Receive Power When the Holy Spirit Comes Upon You…

By Larissa D’souza –

Invite the Holy Spirit to lead your decisions and emotions today. When we have the Holy Spirit we have all that is needed to be all that God desires us to be. Without the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. We are as ships without wind, we are useless. We should submit the Holy Spirit which comes from within and he will lead you on the path to holiness.

The Holy Spirit is your enabler and resident power source. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. The Holy Spirit is your spiritual GPS. It will tell you where you are and where you are going. Let us be guided by the Holy Spirit, allow him to speak to our hearts and he will tell us this: God is Love.

The presence of the Holy Spirit is the keystone of all our hopes. The Holy Spirit calls us to make a change, and then gives us the power to overcome all obstacles. The Holy Spirit transforms and renews us, creates harmony and unity, and gives us courage and joy for our mission. The Holy Spirit is a healing spirit. When the Holy Spirit is present, anything is possible.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to achieve our God-given goals. I pray God would fill you with the Holy Spirit so that your heart overflows with love and joy. May the Lord give you strength to handle all situations we come across. When we are in tune with the Holy Spirit we will see many small miracles happen in our lives. You cannot live a Christian life by yourself. The Holy Spirit must live in you and express himself through you.

God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Remember that he, who rose from the dead, rose to pour out His Holy Spirit into human lives, and, by that Spirit, to make available to any individual all the fullness of Himself, twenty-four hours a day. In the present God primarily speaks by the Holy Spirit, through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church. When we pray for the Spirit’s help we will simply fall down at the Lord’s feet in our weakness. There we will find the victory and power that comes from His love. To pray in the Holy Spirit simply means to lean upon His divine help as we pray.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13).
