Introducing Indian Catholic Matters – A new home for the Indian Catholic Community!
Indian Catholic Matters is an initiative to fill the void felt for some time of a truly Indian website portal for Catholic resources.
Here you will find content written by Indian priests, religious and laity. Contents include news from the Church in India, enriching Homilies, articles, features on various Christian themes, faith, spirituality, art, film, books, culture, parenting, teenager issues, education, social media, technology, youth, etc.; links to various other resources from across the country.
The community-centric Indian Catholic Matters portal, a self-funded initiative, offers daily reflections and also aims is to educate and inform the community, provide opportunities for sharing spiritual knowledge and incisive insights into our Faith from an India perspective.
ICM finds a place this year’s Feedspot top 100 Catholic websites in the world. Feedspot – the global ranking website – rates blogs, podcasts and youtube channels in several niche categories. Earlier it was at 64th and 57th places, respectively.
ICM is the only online publication from India to be featured in this category. The ranking is based on relevancy, blog post frequency (freshness), social metrics, domain authority, traffic and many other parameters. Feedspot’s 2020 Top 100 Catholic blogs, websites and influencers’ list was updated January 10, 2020.
We are truly glad to state that our site has been listed on the Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) website.
Also the Global Catholic Site Aleteia has selected ICM As Its India Partner! Indian Catholic Matters and Aleteia – the most visited global Catholic website in the world — have announced their partnership for mutual sharing of content on both platforms for the benefit of a wider audience. Significantly, ICM too has launched an exclusive Aletetia channel on its site which it believes will have a great appeal to the Indian audience. Happy reading!
We are also pleased to inform that Holy Cross Family Ministry (HCFM-India) is supporting our endeavour and the Family channel is powered by HCFM-India.

We are dedicated to our craft, seeking to get the story right, and by and large our coverage of the Church has been fair and honest in our reporting. More importantly, we are ever willing to report on positive developments of the Church and institutions’ work in India.
