Where Our Strength Runs Out, God’s Strength Begins

By Larissa D’Souza –

We can be tired, weary and emotionally distraught, but after spending time alone with God, we find that he injects to our bodies energy, power and strength. Don’t ask God to make life easier, but ask god to give strength to face all your troubles. Ask the Lord to give you strength to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

You should thank the Lord quiet often for all the blessings he has showered on your family and you. Thank him for the strength he gives you each day and for all the people around you who make life more meaningful. God only puts us through as much as we can handle, so the people who struggle the most, have been chosen by God to be the strongest. God gives one the strength to weather all of Life’s storms. If it wasn’t for the struggle you would not have the strength. God is always building you even when it seems like he is breaking you.

Every time you think you’re being rejected God is actually redirecting you to something better, ask him to give you the strength to press forward. Find strength in God and know that he is in full control. When you feel like you can’t go further, just know that the strength which carried you this far will take you the rest of the way. You can do all things to the Lord who strengthens you. Ask the Lord to give you strength to make it tomorrow with a smile.

You were given this Life because you are strong enough to live it. You are strong enough because you have been weak and you are fearless because you have been afraid. The strongest people are not the ones who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about. Do not pray for an easy Life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one. The Struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. You must never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.

Smile and let everyone know that today, you are a lot stronger than you were yesterday. You have to be strong in the Lord and his mighty power. Where your strength runs out God’s strength begins. God gives us unexpected strength when unusual trials come upon us. Give God your weakness and he’ll give us strength. You should ask the Lord to give you strength for tough times, positivity for good times and ambition for future. Ask the Lord to keep your heart big no matter if it breaks.

God will give you strength for every battle, wisdom for every decision and peace that surpasses understanding. It is only God who gives strength and wisdom to fulfil the God given dream. God uses broken things. It takes broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread and broken bread to give strength. Your Journey to God starts with one small step at a time. He doesn’t expect you to run a mile but he promises to give you strength to go distance.

God is directing your steps. He will give you strength to live your life with a good attitude. When discouragement comes your way, just say, “No, thanks. I’m going to keep my joy. I know that God is in control of my life. He is going to get me to where I’m supposed to be. Ask the Lord to give you strength to move on and joy to overcome my pain. Give me hope to see a rainbow in my wilderness and in my storm. Always remember that our family is a circle of strength; founded by faith, joined in love, kept by God together forever.

When you are at your weakest, God is strong. When you are down, God can lift you up. When all seems lost, God will help you win. Strength is available when you need it. Believe it, embrace it and rely on it. At the end of the day, all you need is hope and strength. Hope that it will get better and strength to hold on until it does. Ask the Lord to give you strength to endure in any situation and to find the blessings and lessons that it contains.

Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t. God doesn’t give us strength for more than one day at a time. He wants us to come to him daily to be refilled. He wants us to see our need for him and to rely on him and not on ourselves.

Tell everyone who is discouraged, be strong and don’t be afraid! God is coming to rescue you. (Isaiah 35:4)
