In today’s gospel, Jesus assures me a helper from Father who will help me in all kinds of situations and direct me to pathways of peace.

Jesus also tells me that I will be ignored and rejected by the people around me if I really follow and bring gospel to the people. If you want to do good in life you will always face challenges and experience rejection from people.

In fact, I have experienced this many times and, in many places, and even in my own community. In fact, not only have I experienced and seen others doing these, but I have done it to others as well. There is not much difference between me and others, we are the same.

No matter what, today the gospel is a call to realize my inner self to do the mission of Christ for Christ himself assures me the Holy Spirit from the Father. There will be many people ignoring and rejecting me for what I do, but eventually God will reward my work that is done unto him. The amount of my work for God may not be so great in the eyes of the people but in the eyes of God it is still great.

Trusting and believing in the assurance of Christ to send the Holy Spirit, I stand to proclaim Christ’s life to the people of God. Therefore, I pray to God to grant me the grace and strength to do the works of Christ in my life.
