Our Trust in God is His Most Treasured Possession

The gospel passage tells about the kingdom of heaven. I think Jesus is trying to explain to us that the kingdom of heaven is one of the greatest treasures that we can find on earth because it is Jesus himself.

We can experience the kingdom of heaven in many different ways such as finding time alone to spend with God, or by helping those in need or doing whatever else that brings joy to both God and ourselves. When we come in contact with the kingdom of heaven, we should do all we can to keep that presence in our lives. There are so many temptations that are trying to take us away from this state of grace with God, but we can pray that we will know how to keep this presence alive and not let it be buried by these other temptations.

In the second reading, we see that a good believer who is called by Jesus never surrender to temptations and will not be separated, because he is chosen by God. His total trust in God is his most treasured possession. He can do anything for him.
