The liturgy of day invites us to have trust and faith in Christ who is the ultimate of all. It is not easy to escape from the worldly pleasure which make us to sin and go away from God.

The modern technology provides lots of things to grow and also to block our growth. It reminds us that God created us and has given a lot of freedom to choose good or bad in our life. He teaches good lessons and makes us to understand the purpose we are created for in the world. He expects us to imitate him and follow him by following the virtues of Jesus.

In the gospel reading God has given us a beautiful example. It presents a person who was very obedient and humble to say that Jesus is the Son of God. He, John the Baptist, played a vital role in preparing the way for Jesus. He understood the purpose for which he was created. So he became the instrument of God, made people to believe and trust in God, and remained a faithful servant to God and Jesus. He gives us invitation to believe and trust in God to live a holy life which makes us united with the Father.

In the first reading St. Paul says that Jesus is true and in him there is eternal life. We are sinners and only God’s grace can save us so we must pray for the grace upon us as well as upon the others. St. Paul teaches each of us to have faith and hope in Jesus so that we will be saved from the sinful life. He asks us to follow Jesus who lived sinless life and gives us invitation to follow him which makes us to live a spotless life and that leads us to eternal life.
