We are called to be sent out. Jesus called twelve disciples to do his mission and also to expand throughout the world. Jesus knows the difficulty that would be faced but he wants his disciples to be bold and totally dependent on God’s providence and on people. He sends two by two in order to strengthen each other in times of failure and difficulty and encourage one another to go forward and to be a good supporter to the companion. As a result, they found miracles taking place. So, they were overwhelmed and recognized the healing power of their master, the Christ.

Jesus called everyone to minister to his mission, but we avoid his call knowingly and unknowingly. We have received call but many at times knowingly we ignore him. We like to give priority to evil not the Christ. So, it is a challenge for us to face the world, because nobody lives without challenges.

Therefore, let us live with minimum and use what we need not what we want, and invite Christ in our life. Jesus wants all of us to live a simple life with dignity and respect and be a witness to his life among the people by living and being with people.
