Konkani Catholics Federation Lifetime Achievement Award for Fr Cedric Prakash

Bengaluru: Eminent writer, human rights and peace activist Fr. Cedric Prakash will receive Life Achievement Award from the Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA) on June 5 at St. Joseph’s Indian High School auditorium at Vittal Mallya Road.

Fr Cedric Prakash writes for Indian Catholic Matters besides writing for other leading publications.

On the occasion of its 24th Federation Day celebration, the FKCA will confer awards for excellence in different categories.

Justice John Michael Cunha, former judge of Karnataka High Court will receive Professional Excellence Award and Brilliant Printers Pvt. Ltd will get the Best Enterprise of the Year Award.

Established in 1998, the Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations espouses the cause of Konkani Catholics of Bengaluru and also works for the larger interests of the community not only in Karnataka but also in other parts of India and the world.

The federation comprises as many as 30 Konkani Catholic associations in different parts of Bengaluru and Mysuru, besides 11 associations in different countries, including four in Dubai, Abu Dhabi in UAE, one each in Kuwait, Qatar, USA, UK, and Canada.
