Jnana Deepa Institute’s Sabbatical Program for Nuns, Priests, and Religious from Aug 1

Pune: Jnana Deepa, Institute for Philosophy and Theology (Pontifical Athenaeum) is organizing a two-and-a-half month intensive sabbatical program titled ‘Towards Building Resilience’ at its campus.

From August 1 to October 16, 2023, this sabbatical program aims to provide religious priests and nuns with a space to replenish their psycho-spiritual resources, update their theology, and contemplate and pray.

This program is designed for those looking to relax, review, replenish and build up psycho-spiritual Resilience. The highlights of the program are:

Jnana Deepa, Institute for Philosophy and Theology (Pontifical Athenaeum) is located at Pune. It is the academic component of Papal Seminary, Pontificium Athenaeum Kandiensis seu Pooniensis. Established by the Jesuits in Kandy (Sri Lanka) in 1893, it was transferred to Pune (India) in 1955. Catering primarily to the formation of candidates for the Catholic priesthood, it is run by the Society of Jesus for the education and building of future Catholic leaders.
