Being prepared and steadfast is the key to achieving the best results in life. No matter where our destinations lie, even if we persevere towards becoming someone great and successful, we still need the Word of God. There is nothing that can take us away from the presence of the Lord when the Word of God is a weapon to fight against the false spirits and darkness that hovers our world today.

In the Gospel, Jesus tells us the parable of the sower. It is very apt for us to ponder over the importance of the Word of God in our lives during the pandemic. It is not easy to read and listen to the Word of God meaningfully every day especially if we are new to the Word of God. It requires a lot of preparedness internally as well as externally to understand the Word of God. It is challenging to live the joy of the Gospel.

However, you and I have no option but to gain strength from the Word of God, for it brings us hope and confidence to face the reality of the world. Therefore, the message for us is to prepare our minds, and give our ears and hearts to hold fast to the Word of God with utmost perseverance and love so as to produce a hundredfold fruit in life.
