God Has a Way of Getting Us to Our Destiny!

By Larissa D’Souza –

There is no greater discovery than seeing GOD as the author of your destiny. You are where God wants you to be at this very moment. Every experience is part of his divine plan. You have been empowered by God with everything you need to fulfil your destiny. You see that no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by God’s decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come your way, but if it’s yours by destiny, it cannot flee away from you.

When God is ready to launch you forward, He doesn’t check with critics, He simply releases you into your destiny. You are a person of destiny. You are equipped, talented, creative and designed for a purpose. It is in the moments of decision that shape your destiny. God doesn’t give Life without a divine destiny. If you are alive today, you are not an accident. I happened to believe that to create your own destiny; you have to do the best with what God gave you. Don’t count yourself out. When God created you, he made you to reflect his glory to fulfil your destiny. God is not concerned about our comfort as He is our purpose. Sometimes, He shakes things up to get us to our destiny. True success comes in consecrating our lives to God’s purposes. In doing so, we permit Him to raise us to our highest destiny. Hardships often prepare people for an extraordinary destiny.

God will not allow any person to keep you from your destiny. They may be bigger, stronger and most powerful, but God knows how to get you to where you are supposed to be. Difficulties are a setup for God to do something greater. Setbacks are a setup for God to move you towards your destiny. Get God’s plan before making your own plans. You’ll always be glad you did. In order to fulfil your destiny, you should not back down, give place for fear. You should embrace the greatness that God has placed within you. Identity is intimately attached to destiny; you cannot know what you were made to do until you first learn who God made you to be.

You can seek answers to your inner mirror who only knows the way to solve the predestined puzzle created by God. Have faith in yourself because God resides in you, in every single cell of your body and in your DNA. Believe in yourself, you have the potential and brilliance to unfold and reach your destiny. When people hate you for no reason; they have no choice than to be bitter, because they can never change God’s destiny and great plans for your life. Every time you think you are being rejected God is actually redirecting you to something better. You should ask God to give you the strength to move forward and lead you to your destiny. God now has a perfect divine plan and destiny set up for your life and He is the One to guide your every step into the fulfilment of that divine plan.

Sometimes the worst thing that happens to us can turn out to be the best thing that happens to us because God has a way of using those things to lay a foundation in our lives and to prepare us for what is destined for us. We get so focused on getting where God wants us to go that we totally forget that God is far more concerned with who we are becoming in the process. Our destiny is to become just like Jesus in your character, relationships, abilities and activities. We cannot fulfil our destiny without the willingness to suffer for Jesus. It is part of the process of Christian living and also helps usher in our rewards.

God will often take you from where you are to where He wants you to be at what can be called a divine intersection. If you learn anything at all about reaching your destiny, learn this: Don’t go searching for your destiny. Go searching for your God. Because it is in locating God amidst the ordinary things that He may have you doing now that you will watch Him intersect them into the extraordinary purpose and destiny He has for you. If you have this attitude of faith, honour God with your life, you are going to come into your destiny moments, that favour is going to thrust you to new levels, you will see God’s purpose come to pass in your life, overcome every obstacle, defeat every enemy, and become everything God’s created you to be.
