Belgaum: Veteran Fransalian priest and former provincial Fr Armind Nazareth (92), died on May 2 at Fransalian Ashram near Sulga, Belgaum on Vengurla Road.
Hailing from Calangute, Goa, he was known as a very caring and affectionate priest. During his priesthood he served at different Fransalian missions in India, including Goa, Pune, Mumbai and Belgaum in different capacities.
The funeral mass will be held at St Jude’s Church, Uchgaon near Belgaum on Sunday, May 5 at 4 pm followed by burial.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon Fr Armind Nazareth.
