By Fr Felix Anthony –

Guwahati: The International Pilgrimage Revolution inaugurated its first office in the North East India at Ullubari, Guwahati on 21 February.

The International Pilgrimage Revolution (IPR), an international travel organisation with offices in many major cities of India and abroad, extended its reach to the North East India with the inauguration of its working office at Peace Centre, 4th Floor, Ullubari, Guwahati. Most Rev. John Moolachira, Archbishop of Guwahati, blessed and Mr. Allen Brooks, former Chairman of the Minorities Commission of Assam, inaugurated the office.

With its inauguration, the IPR is looking at promoting the tourism opportunities of North East India so that people from India and abroad can experience the beauty, culture and spirit of North East, said Most. Rev. George Pallipparambil, Bishop of Miao, the person instrumental in bringing IPR to this region.

“It is a well studied move we have made and we hope to give the much needed exposure to North East to the rest of the world,” said Ms. Sarita, the manager of the IPR’s Ullubari office.

Considering the huge tourism potency of North East, the arrival of IPR at Guwahti augurs well for the region.
